2015 Alumni Homecoming Float
Sorry we didn't get the names of our riders!
A group of West JROTC Cadets standing at attention before the parade starts.
Taking the photo is new (to West) MSG Buschur.
He also coaches the soccer and bowling teams!
After Officer Brophy (the West Resource Officer) led off the parade, followed by the JROTC Color Guard.
JROTC Cadets
The West Cheerleaders are followed by the Weskets and the West Band.
New West Band Director Jochen McEvoy walking alongside his band.
Mr. McEvoy is wearing the tan slacks and blue shirt.
The parade organizers invited one of the local youth cheerleader groups to march in the parade!

The West News group, led by their teacher, Mr. David Patrick, built their own float this year!
Looks like FUN!
Think they will make it all the way to the end of the parade route? This is just the beginning and they seem to be having problems!!!

The Homecoming Parade organizers called the local Corvette Club to ask for a few volunteers to drive our queen candidates around the parade route. A couple graciously joined in the fun.

More parade vehicles.......

Some of those who came out to watch the parade (and apparently take some photos!).
This good looking truck is driven by no other than Mr. Lucas Cech - our West Principal! You can't see it very well here, but he is sporting a classy cowboy hat and boots!
Here comes the Alumni Association Float!
The parade route traveled through the Westgate area.
More 'class' cars.
All ages come out to watch the parade and wait for the candy that several vehicles are throwing.
We always get calls out from the many watching the parade letting us know the year 'they' graduated from West! Everyone is Cowboy Proud!

Making the turn to go down behind the Magly Field.
Someone watching from the top of the stadium as the parade goes by below.
