Homecoming - September 28, 2012
The Class of 1963 celebrated their 50th Homecoming with a decorated float.
Center - 1962 Homecoming Queen Becky Baker Jones. On the left, member of the Court Janice Mitchell Younkin. And on the right - member of the Court Ann Lehman Rogers.
Alumni and students walk in the Homecoming Parade. The parade was led off by the West JROTC followed by the Band, Weskets, and Cheerleaders.
Although the parade viewing crowd was down a bit this year, those who did come out to see the parade enjoyed the band music, the candy one of the West floats threw to them and the candy the Class of '63 threw them.

The students decorated several vehicles for the 2012 Homecoming king and queen candidates to ride in.

The Alumni band took the field for the pre-game playing of the National Anthem.

The back row of the Alumni Band was made up of members of the '63 class. Most were either in the Band, or were a Wesket, Cheerleader, or Majorette.

The 2012 Wesket squad takes the field in their new outfits. They looked spectacular!

The West JROTC Honor Guard raise the flag.

They marched on the field very 'smartly' and fulfilled their duty expertly.

Proudly it waves.. . . . . .
The National Anthem over, the combined West Band and Alumni bands march down the field.
Only two Drum Majors returned this year - Brad Laver '75 leads this line.
David Gates '90 shows he still knows how to throw the baton.
They sounded as good as they looked.
Thank you Alumni Band members for making the effort to return each year to entertain us.
Brad Laver '75. Everyone loves the Drum Majors! (Where are our other Drum Majors who have returned in the past?????)
Looking GOOD Weskets!
Theresa Fox '76, one of the Alumni Band Sousaphone players, is a fan favorite.
Finally, time for the game to begin! The crowd gathers as the team runs out from their stadium room.
The cheerleaders wait for the team to run through their sign.
The team is getting FIRED UP!
Look out ladies, HERE COME THE COWBOYS! And they did play their best. They won the game!
Continued best wishes to the Cowboy Football team.

Both ladies 'manned' the Alumni table at Homecoming. They had an array of alumni logo items available for sale.
